OPEN and CLOSE circuit
Fundamentals of basic circuit
All circuit theories requires the following components to complete a basic circuit.
conductor (wire or cable)
loads (resistance)
voltage (supply)
a contact point (commonly a switch)
If any of the component list above is not available, the circuit is in-complete.
OPEN circuit
Open circuit means any breaks in the line connected will cause voltage or current unable to flow in a complete circuit formation. The electrical load or equipment will not work due to no electric current flowing in the circuit.
Figure 1 shows all components is connected in series and the switch is OPEN positions means OFF.

CLOSE circuit
Closed circuit means that the circuit is connected in close loop, the current can flow in the circuit and load are consider turn ON.
Figure 2 shows when the switch is closed position, electric current can flow through the electric load and will function.
