How to Get Contractor License
Contractor License
According to Sarawak authorities, there are two(2) types of contractor license.
Building Contract Electrical Wiring (BCEW) (Internal Wiring) License
Authorized To Test (ATT)
根据砂拉越当局的说法，承包商许可证有两（2）种类型。
1建筑合同电气布线（BCEW）（内部布线）许可证
2授权测试（ATT）
Menurut pihak berkuasa Sarawak, terdapat dua(2) jenis lesen kontraktor.
Lesen Pendawaian Elektrik Kontrak Bangunan (BCEW) (Pendawaian Dalaman).
Lesen Untuk Menguji Permasangan Elektrik (ATT)
About Building Contract Electrical Wiring (BCEW)
Previously this is license is known as Electrical Installation Contractor or E.I.C
Purpose of this contractor license
To allow any interested individual to open Company relates to electrical wiring installation.
以前，该许可证被称为 Electrical Installation Contractor or E.I.C
该承包商许可证的目的
允许任何有兴趣的个人开设与电线安装相关的公司。 .
Sebelum ini lesen ini dikenali sebagai Kontraktor Pemasangan Elektrik atau E.I.C
Tujuan lesen kontraktor ini
Untuk membenarkan mana-mana individu yang berminat untuk membuka Syarikat berkaitan dengan pemasangan pendawaian elektrik.
How to get this BCEW license?
This license can registered with Electrical Inspectorate Unit at Wisma Satok (Kuching).
如何获得 BCEW 许可证？
该许可证可以在 Wisma Satok（古晋）的电气监察部门注册。
Bagaimana untuk mendapatkan lesen BCEW ini?
Lesen ini boleh berdaftar dengan Unit Inspektorat Elektrik di Wisma Satok (Kuching).
What is the requirement to before apply for this BCEW license ?
Before the intend to get this BCEW license, any interested individuals must PASSED the following competency examinations as deem by local authority.
Wireman Grade 2 or Wireman Grade 1 license holder
Chargeman L1 license holder
申请 BCEW 许可证之前有什么要求？
在打算获得 BCEW 许可证之前，任何感兴趣的个人必须通过地方当局认为的以下能力考试。
Wireman 2 级或 Wireman 1 级许可证持有者
Chargeman L1 执照持有者
What is the requirement to before apply for this BCEW license ?
Before the intend to get this BCEW license, any interested individuals must PASSED the following competency examinations as deem by local authority.

Capacity installation BCEW license
Young newly registered companies if successfully applied this BCEW license are given installation capacity of below 100 kW installation.
容量安装BCEW许可证
年轻的新注册公司如果成功申请此 BCEW 许可证，将获得 100 千瓦以下的装机容量。
Lesen BCEW pemasangan kapasiti
Syarikat muda yang baru berdaftar jika berjaya memohon lesen BCEW ini diberi kapasiti pemasangan di bawah 100 kW pemasangan.
Examination method
Theory paper only , individuals can register this examination at any accredited institution in Sarawak.
Minimum passing score marks for this BCEW examination is 50% or higher scores.
考试方法
仅理论试卷，个人可以在砂拉越任何认可的机构注册此考试。 此 BCEW 考试的最低及格分数为 50% 或更高分数。
Kaedah peperiksaan
Kertas teori sahaja, individu boleh mendaftar peperiksaan ini di mana-mana institusi bertauliah di Sarawak. Markah lulus minimum untuk peperiksaan BCEW ini ialah 50% atau lebih tinggi.
Authorized to Test (ATT)
What is Authorized To Test license ?
This is a license for electrical contractor to provide services as testing on completed electrical installation on residential or shop-lot premises. This license is mandatory requirement for any holder of EIC or BCEW if anyone wishes to extend their services in the electrical sector.
How to get this ATT license ?
Interested individuals/contractors must do the following steps.
PASS the Building Contract Electrical Wiring (BCEW) and have successfully applied the license.
PASS the Wireman Grade 2 and have successfully applied the license.
PASS the Wireman Grade 1 and have successfully applied the license.
MUST have working experiences in wiring installation either single or three phase electrical system at least more than 3 years experience.
PASS the Sarawak Electricity Ordinances and Electricity Rules & Regulations examination.
OBTAIN a valid First Aid treatment & CPR from either Red Cresent or St.John Ambulance or other recognized institution.
