"switchboard "  

• means an assembly of switchgear with or without instruments, but does not apply to a group of local switches in a final circuit.

Electrical Room Requirement

REQUIREMENTS FOR MAIN SWITCHBOARD (MSB) ROOM 主配电板 (MSB) 室的要求 

(a) Minimum clearance requirements for the purpose of safety and effective operating and adjusting of equipment mounted on the MSB as follows. Refer table room requirement click here.  

      为了安全、有效地操作和调整安装在 MSB 上的设备，最小间隙要求如下。 请参阅表房间要求点击此处。 

(b)   Front assess type MSB do not require back clearance, but must allow for full frontal access to the busbar, C.T chamber and all ancillary equipment. The front and sides clearance shall conform to the table 1.  

     MSB 型正面评估不需要背面间隙，但必须允许从正面完全接触母线、C.T 室和所有辅助设备。 正面和侧面间隙应符合表1的规定。 

(c)   The MSB room doors shall be arranged to open outwards and shall not obstruct the passage way into which they open. All doors shall be fitted with locks to prevent the entry of unauthorized persons, but shall be readily opened from the inside without the use of a key. 

    MSB 房间的门应布置为向外开启，且不得阻碍其打开的通道。 所有门均应装有锁，以防止未经授权的人员进入，但无需使用钥匙即可从内部轻松打开。 

(d)   The MSB room doors shall be preferably be provided with an alternative emergency exit door. 

      MSB 房间门最好配备备用紧急出口门。 

(e)   The MSB room shall either be naturally or forced ventilated depending on the location. Forced ventilation shall be required if the MSB room is located in the basement levels where ducted fresh air and exhaust are to maintained effectively. The exhaust fan shall be of adequate capacity. 

     MSB 房间应根据位置进行自然通风或强制通风。 如果 MSB 房间位于地下室，需要有效维持管道新鲜空气和排气，则应要求强制通风。 排气扇应有足够的容量。 

(f)     Trenches, cable tray and cable entry ducts/pipes where required for services to and from MSB room are to be provided. Trenches shall be filled with sand after laying of cable. Trench cover shall be provided.

    应提供进出 MSB 室所需的沟渠、电缆桥架和电缆入口导管/管道。 电缆敷设后，沟渠内应填沙。 应提供沟盖。 

(g)   The approved installation single line drawing, endorsed by the consultant in charge of the installation, is to be framed up and displayed at a prominent position in the MSB room.

(h)   A rubber mat to BS 5912 / c1952 of minimum thickness 5mm and width 600mm shall be provided in front of the MSB for its entire length.

(i)     A chart on treatment for electrical shock is to be displayed in the MSB room.

(j)     A 13A switched socket outlet shall be provided at suitable locations in the room. 

       应在房间内合适的位置提供 13A 带开关的插座。 

(k)   Lighting in the MSB room shall be designed to give sufficient illumination.

(l)     The MSB room shall not be used as a store of for any purpose other than a switchboard room. 

       MSB 室不得用作除配电室以外的任何用途的储藏室。 

(m) Standby generating sets, fuel tanks and its associated generator control board shall not be in the same room with the MSB. 

       备用发电机组、油箱及其相关的发电机控制板不得与MSB位于同一房间。 

(n)   Standard “Danger” signs, according to BS5378:1980 shall be displayed on the MSB room doors.  

       根据 BS5378:1980，标准“危险”标志应显示在 MSB 房间门上。 

(o)   Firefighting systems as required by relevant authorities shall be installed.  应安装有关部门要求的消防系统。 

RULE 20 :  WORKING ON A SWITCH BOARD

20.  Before any work is commenced on a switchboard:  在交换机上开始任何工作之前 

(a)  The switchboard shall be made DEAD and the conductor Earthed.  配电盘应断电且导体接地。 

(b)  If the switchboard is arranged in such a manner that any conductor thereof can be made DEAD in section and separated by permanent or removable division or screen from any adjoining section of which the conductor is LIVE, that section on which work has to be done shall be made DEAD and every conductor Earthed.  如果配电盘的布置方式使得其任何导体可以在部分中成为死区，并通过永久或可移动的分隔物或屏蔽与导体带电的任何相邻部分分开，则必须在其上进行工作的部分应为 使所有导体死亡并且接地。 

RULE 37 :  MSB ROOM FOR SWITCH BOARD OR EQUIPMENT

37.   Any part of an installation where the switchboard or equipment is installed in any premises:- 任何场所安装配电盘或设备的装置的任何部分 

(a)  shall be adequately lighted, ventilated and kept dry.  应有充足的照明、通风并保持干燥。 

(b)  shall be free from obstruction to facilitate the safe working of the switchboard or equipment.  应无障碍物，以利于配电盘或设备的安全工作。 

(c)  shall be ample dimension to facilitate ample space for safe operation or maintenance 应有足够的尺寸，以便有足够的空间进行安全操作或维护 

(d)  shall not be used for storage of any kind. 不得用于任何类型的存储。 

RULE 39  INSTRUCTIONS FOR TREATMENT OF ELECTRIC SHOCK

(1)  Instructions in the national language and English language as to the proper mode of treating a person suffering from electric shock shall be affixed to any installation, other than a domestic installation, where persons are normally employed and where electricity is generated, transformed or used. 除家用设施外，在通常雇用人员以及发电、转换或使用电力的任何设施上，均应张贴以本国语言和英语编写的关于如何处理触电人员的正确方法的说明。 

(2)   The owner, management or licensee of an installation, as the case may be, shall ensure that any person employed therein understands and is familiar with the instructions. 装置的所有者、管理人员或被许可人（视情况而定）应确保装置中的任何雇员理解并熟悉这些说明。 

RULE 40   FIRE EXTINGUISHER

 The fire extinguisher shall be provided by the owner, management or licensee  of an installation, other than a domestic installation, and the extinguishers shall be kept on the premises for use at any time.  The fire extinguisher agent are commonly dry powder type or carbon dioxde (CO2) as required according to BOMBA regulations guidelines.  灭火器应由除住宅装置以外的装置的拥有人、管理人或持牌人提供，且灭火器应保留在场所内以供随时使用。 根据 BOMBA 法规指南的要求，灭火剂通常为干粉型或二氧化碳 (CO2)。 

MSB ROOM - CO2 indicator lamp

 Normally can be found on entrance of main switch board room. There are two color lamps to represent the operation of CO2 system. 通常可以在主配电室的入口处找到。 有两种颜色的灯代表CO2系统的运行情况。 

• RED –  DO NOT ENTER the room, this means the CO2 system has activated.  请勿进入房间，这意味着二氧化碳系统已启动。 

• GREEN –  SAFE TO ENTER the room, this means the CO2 system is not working conditions.  可以安全进入房间，这意味着二氧化碳系统未处于工作状态。 

   The operations of CO2 extinguishing system is control by an individual fire alarm panel but link to the main fire alarm panel. A smoke detector is installed on the ceiling of main switch room to detect fire smoke and triggers the fire system. A timer is include for total duration of the CO operations, during this period no person shall enter the room until the indicating lamp show green. Other system incorporate with this CO2 system are blinds(curtains) and exhaust fan (to exhaust out the CO2).  

CO2 灭火系统的操作由单独的火灾报警面板控制，但与主火灾报警面板相连。 主配电室天花板上安装烟雾探测器，用于探测火灾烟雾并触发消防系统。 CO 操作的总持续时间包括一个计时器，在此期间任何人不得进入房间，直到指示灯显示绿色。 与该二氧化碳系统结合的其他系统是百叶窗（窗帘）和排气扇（用于排出二氧化碳）。
